Bayern Munich have been a dominant forced this season as they continue to remain unbeaten across all competitions.
They have had a perfect start to their Bundesliga campaign whilst also kick-starting their Champions League journey with a triumph over Chelsea.
In these games, a few players have taken a central role and have helped the Bavarians reach the next level this season. Harry Kane has been at his dominant best, but Michael Olise has also been equally good, especially in Jamal Musiala's absence.
Recently, former Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus has showered praise on the former Crystal Palace man, and he believes that Olise could be the next Frenchman to win the Ballon d'Or after Ousmane Dembele's recent heroics.
Olise is off to a great start to life in Bundesliga but despite his fantastic debut season he finished in the 30th spot in the Ballon d'Or rankings.
He has to bag all the accolades in a season like Dembele to replicate the PSG forward's heroics of winning the prestigious award.

"He has everything an outstanding footballer needs. I see no limits for him. And the example of Ousmane Dembele shows that a winger can become a world-class footballer," Matthaus told BILD in an interaction.
"It always depends on the success of the team, especially in the Champions League – but yes, I believe Olise can [win the Ballon d'Or]."
Bayern Munich are looking to extend Olise's current contract
Olise has been one of the most successful transfers in the last few years and therefore they are determined to keep him in Bavaria for several years.
His current contract runs until 2029, but Bayern Munich are reportedly pushing for a new contract to keep him beyond that date with clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool eyeing a move for the youngster.
Olise has been a cornerstone in Vincent Kompany's squad especially with Musiala's long term injury.
The France international has been the primary creative force for the Bavarians in this period and he has been a menace on the right flank.
Overall, he has been involved in 50 goals in 62 matches for Bayern Munich which includes 24 goals and 26 assists.
Olise has shown enough quality and trust in his skillset, so much so that Matthaus has full trust in him to become the first Bayern Munich player to win the Ballon d'Or in over four decades.
