Elite recruits, Georgia football commits visiting for the Alabama game

The Georgia Bulldogs have the nation's second-best recruiting class in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Georgia has 31 total commitments in the class of 2026 and many of them will be in town for the Alabama Crimson Tide game.

The Georgia-Alabama game will be one of the Georgia's best home atmospheres of the season. Georgia has won 33 consecutive games in Sanford Stadium and hosts Alabama in a primetime game at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart will be busy coaching the Bulldogs on Saturday, but he knows that games are often won before they're ever played. Georgia has recruited extremely well during the Smart era and simply has had more talent than many of its opponents over the years. A loaded roster filled with five-stars is going to beat a team with mostly three-stars and a sprinkling of former four-star recruits. Before and after the game, Smart will be giving his best pitches to top recruits as to why they should come to Georgia.

Georgia will use the Alabama game as a premier opportunity to impress elite recruits. A Georgia victory would go a long way toward impressing the highly-touted visitors in Athens.

While Georgia's class of 2026 is not set in stone, most of Georgia's current commitments will end up signing with the Bulldogs in December. However, Georgia is looking to add some offensive line talent to the class of 2026. The Dawgs are hosting a pair of 2026 linemen.

Class of 2028 recruit Brayden Bailey is a sophomore in high school. He's a wide receiver and defensive back recruit that also runs track.
