The Cleveland Browns fix their offense in the latest three round 2026 NFL mock draft. Browns take franchise quarterback Dante Moore first overall
The Cleveland Browns won a thrilling victory over the Green Bay Packers.
Browns’ fans hoping to see a reflection of that in this week’s mock draft will need to wait one more week. This week, I have a special pick for the Browns that requires the first pick in the draft. However, before we begin the mock draft, there are a few more announcements. As college football is over a quarter of the way through its season, it seemed like an appropriate time to add another round to the mock draft. The Browns should have four picks within the top-75, and there are plenty of great players to highlight as they prepare for the best games of the week.
The Browns will need a top-three pick in the NFL draft if they want to find a future franchise quarterback. The strong quarterback class has evaporated over the past month. The top quarterbacks have been incredibly inconsistent, and in a few cases, they’ve regressed. However, one quarterback is quickly positioning himself as the top pick. While I believe that quarterbacks should exhaust their collegiate career, so they have plenty of experience as they enter the NFL. The league doesn’t have the patience to develop young quarterbacks, and once talented quarterbacks are quickly discarded.
However, teams are desperate and believe the next young quarterback can save their organization. It’s a challenging position for both fans and the team, as Browns fans know. The Browns will likely select a quarterback with the top pick. Who will they choose?
1.01 Dante Moore, QB, Oregon
Dante Moore has taken college football by storm. The Oregon Duck started his career at UCLA in 2023 as their top recruit. The former five-star recruit took a lot of lumps with the Bruins as he struggled to acclimate to college football. Following his freshman season, Moore decided to transfer to Oregon, where he sat behind Dillon Gabriel. Moore has taken over as the field general for the Ducks and looks electric. The 6-foot-2 quarterback is a good athlete with a fantastic arm. He’s an electric playmaker, and he’s pushing the limits of an already explosive Oregon passing attack.
Moore has all the tools to be a top quarterback. He has a big arm that can access every portion of the field. He can alter his arm angles to slip throws by defenders. So far, he’s been very accurate. Moore is a running threat, and he’s a polished passer on the run. Moore forces defenses to account for everything when game planning against him.
Moore is a talented quarterback still learning the position. While he looks far more composed at Oregon, he should prove that against multiple seasons. Moore and the Ducks have yet to play against tough competition. That all changes on Saturday when the Oregon Ducks fly to Happy Valley to face Penn State. The duel between Moore and Drew Allar will have the attention of scouts and general managers.
1.17 Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama
Kadyn Proctor is one of the better offensive tackle prospects in the country. A former top-five recruit, Proctor has all the tools to succeed in the NFL. Proctor started as a freshman for Alabama, being named a Freshman All-American. The young offensive tackle has hit a rough patch after Nick Saban left. The 6-foot-7 tackle has struggled with his weight and his effort at Alabama.
The Browns are desperate for an offensive tackle, possibly multiple, after another season-ending injury to Dawand Jones. Offensive tackles go quickly in the draft. The Browns must target one early. If the Browns receive a late-round pick from the Jacksonville Jaguars, then they could miss out on the top talent in the class. Proctor is a prototypical tackle with concerns around his work ethic. Proctor is a cautionary tale of players who prioritize winning over their love for the game. It’s easy to stay motivated when everything is going well, but staying motivated during tough times is one of the key differences between good players and great players. Proctor has an excellent opportunity to get his season back on track on Saturday against Georgia.
2.34 Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
Denzel Boston is the most unheralded wide receiver in college football. The receiver might have been built in a lab. At 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, the receiver has prototypical size for the position. Boston is a technical marvel. The sure-handed receiver has great athleticism. He’s a versatile weapon who can win outside as an X and bully defensive backs in the slot. Boston is one of the top receiving prospects in the draft.
Boston does his best work when the ball is in the air. Boston plays above the rim excellently. He does a great job of tracking the ball and shooting his hands late for the ball. He gives defensive backs no hints that the ball is in the air, making them look silly when he catches it. He turns 50/50 balls into 80/20 with his skills. Boston is a strong receiver with great technique. He can turn into a dangerous weapon in the NFL. Especially for teams wanting to bolster their slot receiver. Boston has the strength to bully defensive backs in the NFL. He has the body control and soft hands to make tough catches in the middle. Boston will be a dangerous weapon in the NFL.
Boston and the Washington Huskies have a big game against the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Huskies are undefeated so far, and want to prove they're one of the best teams in the Big Ten under new coach Jedd Fisch. The reigning National Champs have one of the best defenses in college football. All eyes will be on Seattle on Saturday. Boston has an excellent opportunity to show he’s the top wide receiver in the class.
3.65 Kamari Ramsey, S, USC
Kamari Ramsey is one of the most lockdown defensive backs in college football. Ramsey started his career at UCLA in 2022, redshirting his first year before starting in his second season. Ramsey transferred to cross-town rival USC in 2024. His addition bolstered a weak USC defense.
The safety has done a great job of patrolling the deep portions of the field. The Trojans have put a lot more on Ramsey’s plate by pushing him as the slot defender. Ramsey has looked fantastic in the slot. He’s shown off great agility and deep speed, blanketing receivers. He’s proving he’s more than a middle fielder, but a chess piece for defense.
Ramsey would be a perfect fit for the Browns’ defense, replenishing their defensive backfield. Ramsey could help shut down explosive passing attacks by putting a lid on the offense as a natural middle-of-the-field safety. He could also expand Schwartz’s coverage menu as a versatile weapon. Ramsey has an excellent opportunity to battle against a physical Illinois offense looking to bounce back after losing to the Indiana Hoosiers. If Ramsey continues having a dominating season for the Trojans, he should hear his name on the first night of the NFL draft.
