If you're in California and are hoping to catch the Raiders game on Sunday, you may want to look at this broadcast map first.
The Raiders have a strong California fanbase. Understandable considering they spent the 60 years of their existence between Northern and Southern California. And the sports bars are about be full of Raiders fans because CBS doesn't think anyone outside of parts of Nevada and the regions immediately surrounding Northern Illinois will have enough interest in the game to televise it anywhere else.
Fans in the Raiders' former homes of Oakland and Los Angeles will instead be treated to the Ravens vs the Chiefs. As will most of the country.
The featured game pits the 2024 AFC West champions against the AFC North champions. This season, however, both teams sit at 1-2. Same record as both the Bears and Raiders. Though a lot more is expected of the Ravens and Chiefs this season than either the Raiders or Bears.
Even still, it always seems crazy a network would think California would be more interested in either the Ravens or Chiefs over whatever game the Raiders are playing.
