Hologram appeared to have suffered an injury during Saturday’s AEW Collision, forcing a new entrant to take his place in a TNT title match.
During Saturday’s show, Kyle Fletcher attacked Hologram after an El Clon glitch that appeared in a promo backstage. Fletcher ambushed Hologram and left him down after his attack. Unfortunately for the star, it seems like he was injured as a result of the attack and not compete for the TNT title.

During Fletcher’s match with Komander later in the show, Tony Schiavone revealed Hologram was hurt. Specifically, he said Hologram suffered a “serious injury,” and that he would be out for “quite a while.” It’s unclear whether or not the injury itself is part of the show or genuine. But from all accounts, it seems like Hologram will be out for some time.
As a result of the injury, AEW announced that the recently returned Orange Cassidy will face off against Fletcher for the TNT Championship on AEW Dynamite’s sixth anniversary show. In a later post on social media, AEW’s Tony Khan seemed to confirm the news that the injury was real. He said Hologram had “significant injuries,” and would be out for the rest of 2025.
Get well soon, @AEWHologram!

After an unprovoked attack backstage at #AEWCollision tonight by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher,
Hologram has significant injuries.
We’re all cheering for Hologram + wishing him the best in his recovery. Sadly, Hologram likely is out the rest of 2025.
