Kenny Omega return match and Orange Cassidy title shot at AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary

AEW loads up the card.

AEW is stacking the card with stars for the Dynamite 6th Anniversary next week on Wednesday, October 1. Big news was dropped with the return of Kenny Omega and Orange Cassidy in a title bout.

Omega was last seen being destroyed by the Callis Family one month ago. Brody King warned those goons to make sure the man is dead when trying to kill him. King informed the audience that Omega & Brodido will wrestle Josh Alexander & the Young Bucks for Dynamite.

The TNT title picture was thrown into chaos. Hologram was supposed to challenge Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship on Dynamite. Clon hacked into Hologram’s mind, then the luchador was brutally attacked by Fletcher. It was announced that Hologram is injured, and he was pulled from the Dynamite bout.

Fletcher handled business to retain the gold against Komander on Collision. The Protostar still wants to defend the TNT strap, so he demanded competition. AEW set up Orange Cassidy as the new challenger.

The updated lineup for the AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary includes:

  • Kenny Omega & Brodido vs. Josh Alexander & Young Bucks
  • Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, & Daniel Garcia vs. Hangman Page, Samoa Joe, & Will Hobbs
  • TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Orange Cassidy
  • Darby Allin & Kris Statlander vs. Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir
  • Jurassic Express returns
  • Toni Storm returns to Hollywood (Florida)

AEW also announced that the special will be two and a half hours.
