TYLER, Texas (KETK) — The third-ranked TJC Apaches football team overcame a slow start to beat Northeastern Oklahoma A&M 45-29 Saturday night at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium.

TJC led 17-13 at halftime, before outscoring the Norsemen 28-16 in the second half to pick up its’ second-straight conference win and remain unbeaten.

The Apaches (4-0) hit the road to take on New Mexico Military Institute (2-2) next Saturday, October 4.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. central time at Wool Bowl Stadium in Roswell, NM.
