The Cubs will be playing two afternoon games on Tuesday and Wednesday
Major League Baseball announced the start times for the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. Games 1 on Tuesday and Game 2 of the series on Wednesday at Wrigley Field against the Padres will both have a 2:08 Central starting time. Both games will be broadcast over-the-air on ABC affiliates.
The starting time for Game 3, if necessary, has yet to be determined. It will certainly depend on how many Game 3 there are on that day.

The two American League Wild Card Series are yet to be determined as we still don’t know whether the Yankees or Blue Jays will be playing in one of them. Presumably the Yankees will get the evening spot if they fail to win the division.
All of the Wild Card Series will be broadcast on the ABC/ESPN broadcast family. There will be coverage in Spanish on ESPN Deportes and the ESPN app. There will be a also national radio broadcast on ESPN radio.
