Oddsmakers do not like the Jaguars’ chances to beat the Chiefs in Week 5.
The Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1) will face the Kansas City Chiefs (2-2) at 8:15 p.m. EST on Monday, Oct. 6, at EverBank Stadium.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars are 3-point underdogs and the total is set at 44.5 points.
Both teams are coming off impressive wins. Jacksonville got its first road win of the season by beating the 49ers 26-21, with former Niner Arik Armstead getting the game-clinching strip sack. It was the team’s fourth forced turnover of the day, and its 13th of the season.
Over the past decade, the 2018 Browns are the only other defense to record as many turnovers through the first four games of a season.
The Chiefs, meanwhile, defeated Lamar Jackson and the Ravens 37-20 to quiet any negative narratives. Their offense looked much better with Xavier Worthy back in the lineup, and Spags looks like Spags again. Jackson was held to under 200 total yards while Derrick Henry was limited to 58.
The Chiefs are back … but so are the Jags.
