Michigan football now knows exactly when it will kickoff as it makes its first trip to Los Angeles to take on USC as an official Big Ten foe.

The Big Ten announced the Week 7 pairings on Monday, Sept. 29 and the No. 20 Wolverines (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) will take on the Trojans (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) at 7:30 p.m. EST, 4:30 local on Saturday, Oct. 11 at LA Memorial Coliseum.

Michigan running back Kalel Mullings (20) runs against USC during the first half at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024.

The game will be broadcast on NBC.

This will mark the Wolverines' third night-time kickoff of the season for those who are watching in Ann Arbor (Michigan's first two games of the year vs. New Mexico and at Oklahoma both kicked off at night) but is technically the second mid-afternoon kick time for the team this year after winning their 30-27 Big Ten opener vs. Nebraska at 2:30 local time.

This is a more typical time for USC to have a kick, after falling at Illinois 34-32 last weekend in what was an 11 a.m. local kickoff (9:00 a.m. in the Trojans' body clock) which came just one week after they kicked off at 8 p.m. in Los Angeles, which was 11 p.m. body clock against U-M's rival, Michigan State.

This will be the first time Michigan and USC play in California (not counting eight Rose Bowl games) since Sept. 28, 1957.
