Real Madrid suffered historic 5 - 2 defeat against rivals Atletico Madrid in La Liga on Saturday marking the 1st time since 1950 the club conceded five goals to their city neighbors.
Perez shows trust, but sets limits
According to Defensa Central, president Florentino Perez still backs coach Xabi Alonso describing the setback as stumble on an otherwise positive path.
Yet, he also warned that another heavy defeat in big game could change everything.

This wasn't the 1st blow under Alonso. Earlier in the season, Madrid were dismantled 4 - 0 by Paris Saint Germain in the Club World cup held in the U.S.
