Deputy mayor confirms return with limited capacity after safety adjustments
FC Barcelona Set to Return Home: Camp Nou Reopening Date Confirmed
The long awaited return to Camp Nou has finally been outlined though only in partial form.
According to city council statements, Barcelona will reopen their iconic stadium on 18 October.
Green light from the city
Deputy mayor told RAC1 that security checks allow the stadium to host matches again:
"From safety point of view, the green light can be given once the required adjustments are made"

Work still in progress
Batlle added that some minor issues remain but expressed confidence in Barcelona’s efforts:
"I've no doubt everything will be corrected soon and against Girona, Barca will finally play where they always wanted"
Limited capacity at first
In the initial stage, only 27000 fans will be allowed inside Camp Nou. Meanwhile matches at Montjuic continue to host 50000 spectators until the full reopening is completed.
