Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh is clearly frustrated after the team's 1-3 start, especially following Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
He didn't like how his offense handled the Chiefs' blitzes during the game.
On Monday, ESPN's Jamison Hensley reported that Harbaugh was displeased with how his offense handled the Chiefs' blitzes, noting that the team had a plan but failed to stick to it.
"I don't think our approach was good," Harbaugh told reporters on Monday. "I'm not happy about it. None of the coaches are happy about it. It was not a good job."
The situation in Baltimore remains hard. On Monday, Harbaugh provided bleak updates on injuries to two key players.
When asked about quarterback Lamar Jackson's hamstring injury and whether he would have returned if the game had been closer, Harbaugh said there was no chance Jackson could return because of the severity of the injury.
"Lamar was not going back in the game," Harbaugh said. "The injury simply wouldn't allow it. Knowing Lamar the way I do, if there was any way he could have come back, he would have."
Per insider Adam Schefter, Jackson's status for the Ravens' next game against the Houston Texans "is in question."
Harbaugh also announced that Pro Bowl defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike will miss the remainder of the season with a neck injury. That's a big blow to the Ravens' defense.
