Watch: Steve Sarkisian addresses the media ahead of Florida

Steve Sarkisian shared with the media ahead of the conference opener.

The No. 9 Texas Longhorns got some well-needed rest after the offense seemingly found its mojo against an outmatched Sam Houston State squad and rolled 55-0. But now the gauntlet of conference play and a month of games away from Austin kicks off with a trip to The Swamp to take on the Florida Gators.

The Gators currently sit 1-3 and are coming off an embarrassing loss to rival Miami, in which quarterback DJ Lagway threw five interceptions and the offense seemingly never got going. But they still boast a ton of talent and one of the toughest defenses in the country. It seems like the Gators will likely try to do some things to confuse Manning and get him off of his game, hoping to rattle the confidence of the young quarterback and create turnovers and bad throws.

Defensively, Texas also boasts one of the best units in the country, and they will have a significant impact on the day that Lagway and the Florida offense have in The Swamp. The Longhorns have not been as dynamic turning the ball over as they have been in previous years, especially by intercepting the ball, but having beter turnover luck in years past. Will the Longhorns be able to set up the offense with short field position and take advantage of some quick changes and take control of games quickly.

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian spoke to the media ahead of the conference-opening matchup against the Gators on the road to kick off their long road streak.
