An NXT superstar is undergoing a name change, with WWE‘s recent trademark filing revealed in a new social media post.
This weekend, WWE filed a trademark for the name “PJ Vasa.” The name was a mystery to some, but on Monday, NXT star Penina Tuilaepa revealed what it was for. She took to X to post a message that she, PJ Vasa, had now “entered the chat,” confirming she was undergoing a name change.

The name change comes just a few months after Tuilaepa made her in-ring debut. She was a member of WWE’s LFG program, and has competed in a number of matches already. So far throughout her short career, she’s competed against other stars like Zena Sterling, Sirena Linton, Thea Hail, Haze Jameson, Layla Diggs, and more.
Now, though, it seems like WWE is ready to give her an even bigger push, complete with a new persona. We’ll have to wait and see how she performs in the ring for now.
