The Chicago Bears edged the Las Vegas Raiders 25-24 in Week 4, clinching the win with a blocked field goal in the final seconds. The victory moved head coach Ben Johnson's squad to 2-2.

Quarterback Caleb Williams had a game of two halves. Chicago managed nine points before halftime, but the rookie turned it on after the break and came through when it mattered most.

Williams first connected with Rome Odunze for a 27-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Then, late in the fourth, he guided another scoring drive capped by D'Andre Swift's two-yard run with 1:34 remaining to put the Bears on top for good.

Bears QB Caleb Williams continues to get better

On Monday, former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner made an appearance on 670 The Score and noted that while Williams isn't performing at a great level, the Bears star continues to improve even in the face of pressure.

"I think Caleb continues to do a nice job," Warner said. "I mean, it's not great, it's not fully there yet. But I thought he made a number of plays again, a number of good plays inside the pocket. A couple things that stood out were that he handled pressure really well, sometimes in hot situations. He saw it and got the ball out of his hands very quickly."

Moreover, Warner noted that Williams is looking to get better, and while it can be challenging for the young starter, he isn't going back to the bad habits that he showed during his rookie season.

"I like the fact that you're not watching it and going, 'Oh, he's reverting back to some things you saw before,'" Warner added. "Every week he's fighting that same battle and doing some really good things. I think he's growing within the offense and growing as a quarterback — a patient quarterback that can play inside the pocket and go through reads. There's always room for improvement."
