The Open thread will be posted every day by one of the mods you’d totally do a UCL night with: Valyrian Steel, Felipejack, Kung_Fu_Zizou (AKA KFZ), Juninho, Ezek and, of course… yours truly.
So, A UCL Comeback Matchday
This could well be the aftertherapy we need. Alonso and the boyz will need to get their stuff together and start the road to a comeback, chasing cohesion and intensity (!) after the Madrid Derby thrashing at the hands (again…) of Cholo’s Atletico side.
Gearing Up…
(… to not play?) Hope we see Gonzalo light up the pitch again soon. I’d like to see him get integrated a bit more, even though it’s Mbappe — of all people — ahead of him in the XI.

It would be a first (well, not technically a “first”, but you know what I mean). Do you guys think that Xabi will call upon the forces of the B team? Well, maybe, but not immediately, probably.
