Brooke Henderson, Nelly Korda, Charley Hull headline LPGA event with rare Saturday finish

The only two-time winner in Lotte's history, Henderson captured back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019.

Brooke Henderson returns to the LPGA after a month-long break in one of her favorite spots: Hawaii. The only two-time winner in the event's history, Henderson captured back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019, back when the Lotte Championship was held at Ko Olina.

Now hosted at Hoakalei Country Club in Ewa Beach, a field of 120 players has gathered for a $3 million purse and, for many, a late push to keep their cards for 2026. After Hawaii, the tour heads to Asia for a string of limited-field events before finishing up the season with the final two tournaments in Florida. The Lotte, held Oct. 1-4, features a rare Saturday finish.

Henderson, 28, is one of 25 different winners on the LPGA in 2025. Remarkably, no player on tour has won more than once this season. The tour record for most winners in a single season is 26, reached on three different occasions: 1995, 2018 and 2022. There are seven events left on the 2025 schedule.

Brooke Henderson of Canada signs autographs after winning the LOTTE Championship at Ko Olina Golf Club on April 21, 2019 in Kapolei, Hawaii.

Henderson's victory at the CPKC Women's Open in August ended a drought that lasted two years and seven months. The winningest golfer in Canadian history with 14 LPGA titles, Henderson has a full schedule planned to close out her 11th season on tour.

"I find it very relaxing and very peaceful here and all the people are so nice," said Henderson of making Hawaii a staple on her schedule. "Beautiful flowers, beautiful views of the ocean. (Brittany) and I, we always enjoy coming back here every year. Being a two-time winner definitely is an extra bonus."

Lotte field stacked with LPGA winners

This year's Lotte field includes 13 of the LPGA's 25 winners this season, including Charley Hull, sisters Chisato and Akie Iwai and past Lotte winners Hyo Joo Kim (2022) and A Lim Kim (2024).

World No. 2 Nelly Korda also headlines the field. Korda finished runner-up to Lydia Ko at the Lotte four years ago and is still in search of her first victory in 2025. She'll play the first two rounds at Hoakalei alongside Hull and Russia's Nataliya Guseva, who finished second last year to Kim.

"This is my third time playing in Hawaii and third different golf course," said Korda, "so as Brooke said, everyone is so nice in Hawaii. The weather is beautiful. Views are beautiful. So it's also Bermudagrass, and that's something that I grew up on, so I'm a little bit more comfortable on it.

"The thing about Hawaii is you never know what kind of weather you're going to get with the wind. It's always fun to play in that to kind of test out your imagination, your skills, different kinds of shots. I think it'll be a fun week."
