UEFA's Disciplinary Committee's announced firm sanctions following recent European fixtures with Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal & Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone among those punished.

Carvajal’s Costly Red Card

Carvajal was sent off during Real Madrid’s 2 - 1 win over Olympique Marseille after off the ball altercation with goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.

The Spaniard has been banned for 2 match ruling him out of today’s clash against Kairat Almaty and the upcoming encounter with Juventus on 22 October.

Additional Sanctions on Marseille

Marseille were fined 10000 euro after delaying their return to the pitch for the 2nd half of the same match compounding their disciplinary troubles.

Simeone Suspended After Liverpool Clash

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has been given 1 match ban following his dismissal in the 3 - 2 defeat to Liverpool.
