Nicolas Jackson delighted to have scored his first Bayern Munich goal in 5-1 demolition of FC Pafos

He’ll settle in nicely.

Bayern Munich put up a blistering display of Champions League football against Cypriot club FC Pafos, returning to Munich with a 5-1 scoreline courtesy of a Harry Kane brace and goals from Raphaël Guerreiro, Michael Olise, and Nicolas Jackson. The latter scored his first goal for the Bavarians, and he was pleased to have opened his account for the German champions.

“It wasn’t easy, but we played a very good game and worked hard,” Jackson said (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “I’m very happy to score my first goal for the club. I’m still getting back to full fitness because I hadn’t played and trained alone for two months. I’m working hard every day.”

The 24-year-old remained tight-lipped about his future but emphasized how much he loves it here, and the fans him. “I’m very happy here, everyone welcomed me very well. I feel home. We’ll see what the future brings,” the Senegalese striker stated.

Bayern Munich traveled to Cyprus to face a very feisty and game Pafos FC side in the Champions League and the game, well, went as expected.

The Bavarians dominated from start to finish and received another thoroughly dominant performance from the attacking group. And, yup, Harry Kane had a brace.
