How all 32 NFL starting quarterbacks stack up after Week 4 of the 2025 season.
There will still be plenty of movement from week to week during the 2025 NFL season in this quarterback-related poll. But now we are a quarter of the way through the current football year, with Week 4 in the rearview mirror, and we're starting to see some true quarterback standouts emerge. Every team and quarterback has had numerous opportunities to showcase their abilities. Following another wild NFL slate in Week 4 of the 2025 season, here are the latest NFL quarterback power rankings.
32. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young was benched. That's about all you need to know.
31. Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans
The Houston Texans recorded their first shutout in more than a decade against Ward and the Titans in Week 4.
30. Jake Browning, Cincinnati Bengals
Not quite a benching, but Browning did little more than that. He barely surpassed 100 passing yards (125) in the outing, all while the Denver Broncos did what they wanted on offense.
29. Justin Fields, New York Jets
Fields had one big play running the ball for the Jets. Otherwise, Fields didn't really do much threatening until the game was over in Week 4.
28. Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
Dart got the job done and we'll be nice to the rookie after his first-career win. He showed some drive but Dart will need (and likely get) more responsibility moving forward.
27. Spencer Rattler, New Orleans Saints
Rattler was not exactly going toe-to-toe with the Bills but he did run an offense that kept things close versus one of the NFL's best teams until the fourth quarter.
26. Joe Flacco, Cleveland Browns
The Browns already don't put up many points on offense. Flacco can't go turning the ball over three times in a game like he did in Week 4, either.
25. Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders
Mariota did enough to keep it close while running a Commanders offense that is tailored to him for the time being. Jayden Daniels will still be welcomed back wholeheartedly. ca
24. Carson Wentz, Minnesota Vikings
Wentz put up 350 yards while trailing and had two touchdowns but the mixture of giveaways and sacks was not pretty. He's only a temporary starter until J.J. McCarthy is good to go, anyway.
23. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Great work by Tagovailoa getting his team's first win on prime-time football. It was still the Jets so we have to take it with a grain of salt.
22. Michael Penix Jr., Atlanta Falcons
Penix had a career-best game. Penix had 313 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in a 34-27 win against the Commanders.
21. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
The Texans got on the board with their first win of the season and had three touchdowns late with Stroud leading the way. He still has a lot of work to do to prove he's still the QB we once saw.
20. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
Williams had a pretty average day at the office and his team around him helped Williams grab another win. We'll wait to see if Williams moves up or down the rankings for one more week.
19. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
Purdy's return saw his team get back into the loss column. Turnovers were the problem for the Niners and he had three of them.
18. Geno Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
The down of the up-and-down nature of Smith showed up in Week 4. Smith had three interceptions which never helps in any loss, let alone one by a single point.
17. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Nix finally had his first huge game of 2025 in a beat down of the Bengals. Nix had 326 passing yards and three total scores.
16. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
It all pretty much went right for the Patriots against the Panthers. Down 6-0, the Pats ripped off 42-straight points.
15. Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers
Rodgers is no longer an MVP candidate and nowhere close. However, he is giving that steady play that has led to wins and did so again against the Vikings.
14. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Lawrence is not blowing the doors off the 2025 season but he does have the Jaguars at 3-1. He took care of the ball against the 49ers and let those around him do a lot of good work.
13. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
Murray had two interceptions but still had his team in a place to win in overtime. The Cardinals were done in late by their special teams.
12. Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks
The Cards special teams miscue happened, but Darnold guided his team to the winning points late and had 242 yards.
11. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
Jones' best QB stat was his 3-0 record coming into Week 4. The Colts lost to the Rams and he had two interceptions but Jones gave reason to believe he's still going to be able to guide his team to a positive season.
10. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
A... tie? Even without some top players, the Cowboys pulled that off against the Packers as underdogs. Prescott's three touchdowns and 319 yards were a huge reason why... oh, and it was a 40-40 draw.
9. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
Likewise to Prescott, Love played a lot better in Week 4. While this isn't all on Love, the Packers were the big favorite in this one.
8. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Hurts and the Eagles are 4-0, but he's not the huge reason why. Still, credit to a team that's unbeaten.
7. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
After a hot start, a loss to the Giants is a bad look for Herbert if they wanted to take the AFC West.
6. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Another heck of a game for Stafford in a win for the Rams. Stafford was the reason why the win happened with his 375 yards and three touchdown passes.
5. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs upset the Ravens as a home underdog. It's not quite time to say Mahomes is back after facing a struggling defense but four touchdown is impressive.
4. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Jackson was dropped in another loss and was pulled early... as it turns out, he now might be injured. Uh oh, Ravens.
3. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Aside from an interception some numbers and coming back was once again on the table for Mayfield and the Buccaneers. The Eagles were just too much but he still played well.
2. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
Goff's worst game of the Lions' three-game winning streak. The Lions still put up 34 points. A lot of teams would take that as a "bad game."
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Allen just keeps on winning and playing a part in that for his team. The Bills were a bit lackluster against a lowly Saints team in Week 4, but Allen made the magic happen in the second half to will his way to victory.
