‘Time to correct mistakes’
Ferran Torres called for calm and sais there was no need to “dramatize” Barcelona’s 2-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Hansi Flick’s side suffered their first defeat of the season to the reigning European champions, but Torres says there wasn’t too much between the two sides at Montjuic.
“The game has gone very crazy, we have not been able to take the dominance back to where we wanted. We’re having a lot of games, it’s no excuse, but we have to focus on the one at the weekend,” he told DAZN.
“It’s today’s game, I don’t think we are behind. I think the first half hour was spectacular, but we didn’t know how to maintain it. I am sure that with the passage of time we will maintain it.
“In the end during the season there will be defeats, but we don’t have to dramatize either. Now it’s time to look at what we’ve done wrong and correct the mistakes.”
Barcelona will now look to bounce back on Sunday against Sevilla before the season pauses again for the international break.
