Eden Hazard names his Chelsea 5-a-side team from current players with surprises

Chelsea legend Eden Hazard has named his Blues 5-a-side team using current players, and there’s one big surprise.

Hazard is one of everyone’s favourite players of all time at Chelsea and would be in everyone’s Blues 5-a-side team of all time. But selecting Chelsea’s best 5 players right now, is a different ball game.

Hazard was absolutely unreal during his playing days and it’s only a shame that he had this dream to play for his childhood club Real Madrid before he finished up playing. When he went there his career went downhill because he was tarred with regular injuries and then just ended up retiring, probably a bit too early.

But he is keeping himself around the game and is often popping up at various football things and in videos, so it’s always nice to see him and hear from him.

Hazard’s team

As you can see in this video posted on X today, Hazard has named his current Chelsea 5-a-side team.

He went with Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer, Reece James, Marc Cucurella, and Liam Delap!

Now, it’s a hell of a 5-a-side team that has it all about it. Or does it!? Has Hazard forgotten that every team needs a goalkeeper? Or does he just not rate any of Chelsea’s current goalkeepers at all and would prefer to play rush keeper or put James in goal or something!?

Honest mistake

I think he’s probably just forget to include a keeper here, but I wish they asked him who he would take out to include a keeper, and then which current Chelsea keeper he would pick. Maybe next time.

Even still, I’m backing that 5-a-side team all the way even without a keeper, they just wouldn’t let the ball go to the opposition at all!
