Max Eberl a fan of Serge Gnabry’s resurgence at Bayern Munich

Serge Gnabry might earn himself a new deal at Bayern Munich…

Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl has seen Serge Gnabry’s stellar performances this seasons and is a big fan of what the Germany international is doing.

“Serge Gnabry had a very good time when he came to FC Bayern. Then there were one or two years that were what they were. I can’t definitively assess why. But I can assess what I see now: what Vincent Kompany is doing with him, what Serge is bringing to the pitch. He feels great. He’s healthy. He’s playing, and he’s doing an outstanding job at the moment,” Eberl told Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Gnabry is making a strong case for a new contract, but that would certainly come with a pay cut. How easy will that be for both sides to achieve? Given how much Gnabry’s loves being in Bavaria, maybe not all that difficult.
