Derrick Henry reveals 2-word Ravens mindset ahead of crucial Texans clash originally appeared on The Sporting News

The Baltimore Ravens will go into their Week 5 clash against the Houston Texans knowing that their season is on life-support...oh and they won't have Lamar Jackson either.

With No. 8 suffering a hamstring injury against the Kansas City Chiefs, it will be the Cooper Rush show for John Harbaugh as the former Dallas Cowboy will be tasked with trying to keep this beat up train on the tracks until Lamar returns.

We know that Jackson is eying a Week 7 return, so it will be two weeks and then the bye for Rush to navigate, and for Derrick Henry, when asked of the team's mindset amid the lengthy injury list and the 1-3 record, he was rather straightforward in his response.

"We still got to go play the game and the mindset is go win the football game, nothing’s changed,” Henry said.

Is Baltimore's season on the line?

At 1-3, it sure feels like it and if Rush can't overcome the Texans and the Ravens drop to 1-4, it is the Los Angeles Rams up after that, so a 1-5 record is very possible.

That would get the Ravens to the bye week with Jackson hoping to return in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears, but at 1-5, the season would just about be over, given that the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) have quietly gone about their business.

Still, some believe that even at 1-5, Baltimore's season is alive, but color me skeptical on that because it would be a long way back for Harbaugh's team.

Could they do it? Absolutely, but it would need to be one hell of a comeback.
