Gameweek 7 of the Premier League kicks off with Bournemouth hosting Fulham on Friday night, setting the tone for a weekend packed with high-stakes clashes.
Arsenal face a stern London derby test against West Ham, while Manchester United look to steady their season against an impressive, newly promoted Sunderland.
Chelsea’s discipline will be under the spotlight when they meet a wounded Liverpool, and Brentford prepare for a daunting test against champions Manchester City.
With crucial points on the line before the international break, every fixture promises drama, pressure, and potential turning points in the campaign.
Here is an injury update, as well as score prediction for every Premier League team ahead of gameweek 7.
Friday
Bournemouth v Fulham
Bournemouth kickstart Gameweek 7 by welcoming Marco Silva’s Fulham to the Vitality Stadium on Friday night.
The Cherries have had an encouraging start to the season, with three wins, two draws, and one defeat. Semenyo has been a real difference-maker, scoring four and assisting two in just six games.
Visitors Fulham have struggled in their last two outings, drawing one and losing another. The defeat to Aston Villa was especially disappointing for the Cottagers, as they collapsed against a side that had only scored once before that encounter.
Bournemouth v Fulhamscore prediction: 1-0
Saturday
Leeds v Spurs
A last-minute goal from Bournemouth broke the hearts of Leeds supporters who were hoping for a third win in six games. Leeds have been more solid on their return this season and have also recruited well in attack.
Tottenham, meanwhile, produced a spirited comeback to secure a point in their Champions League clash against Bodø/Glimt. Thomas Frank’s side seems to have mastered the art of fighting back from deficits to secure points.
Lucas Perri is expected back after the international break for Leeds, while Kolo Muani is close to a return but unlikely to feature this weekend. A comeback after the international break looks more realistic for the Frenchman.
Leeds v Spurs score prediction: 2-2
Arsenal v West Ham
Arsenal showed real character at St James’ Park, coming from behind to beat Newcastle 2-1 thanks to a 96th-minute winner from Gabriel Magalhães.
The win was crucial after fellow title contenders Liverpool dropped points against Crystal Palace. Magalhães picked up a knock in the clash against Olympiacos and is being monitored ahead of this match.
Nuno Espírito Santo began life at West Ham with a deserved draw against Everton on Monday. The Hammers looked much more disciplined in defence and offered a greater threat going forward.
Facing Arsenal will be a much bigger test, but they can take encouragement from their display. Soucek remains suspended following his red card against Spurs.
Arsenal v West Ham score prediction: 3-1
Man United v Sunderland
Manchester United welcome Sunderland to Old Trafford in what could be a tricky encounter. Newly promoted Sunderland have enjoyed an excellent start, winning three, drawing two, and losing just one of their first six games. They currently sit fifth, only four points behind leaders Liverpool.
United, meanwhile, fell to another painful defeat against Brentford after Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty that would have levelled the game. The Red Devils have just two wins from six and sit 14th in the table.
Amad Diallo’s availability is uncertain after he missed the Brentford clash due to a family bereavement. Casemiro is suspended after his red card against Chelsea, while Renildo will also sit this one out for Sunderland due to suspension.
Man United v Sunderland score prediction: 1-2
Chelsea v Liverpool
Chelsea will be eager to return to winning ways after failing to win any of their last three matches. Another major concern for Enzo Maresca is the lack of discipline in his side, with at least one Chelsea player sent off in each of their last three games.
A red card against a wounded Liverpool could spell disaster. Trevoh Chalobah is ruled out after his red card against Brighton, while Andrey Santos is a doubt through injury.
Liverpool, meanwhile, has hit a slump after a promising start that earned them the tag of “late goals kings.” The Reds have now suffered back-to-back defeats, looking shaky in defence and blunt in attack.
Alisson Becker is sidelined with an injury picked up against Galatasaray, while Ekikite and Chiesa remain doubts.
Chelsea v Liverpool score prediction: 1-3
Sunday
Aston Villa v Burnley
Aston Villa finally earned their first win of the season against Fulham on Sunday. The Villans looked sharper in the second half following the introduction of Buendía, who scored one and set up another.
The victory lifted them out of the bottom three, and they now have the chance to make it two in a row against newly promoted Burnley. Jadon Sancho, on loan from Manchester United, is a doubt due to illness.
Burnley’s second-half collapse against Manchester City pushed them into the bottom three with just four points from six games. While the Clarets have shown glimpses of promise, defensive lapses in the latter stages of matches have been their undoing.
Aston Villa v Burnley score prediction: 2-0
Everton v Crystal Palace
A second-half goal from Bowen denied Everton all three points in their clash with West Ham last week. The Toffees dominated the first half but were guilty of easing off in the second, allowing the Hammers to take control.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is suspended after accumulating five yellow cards this season.
Crystal Palace proved their Community Shield win over Liverpool was no fluke, repeating the feat against the Premier League champions last week.
Despite wasting chances, the Eagles found a way to secure all three points thanks to Eddie Nketiah’s late winner. Walter Benítez will be in the squad for Palace this weekend.
Everton v Crystal Palace score prediction: 1-1
Newcastle v Nottingham Forest
Newcastle bounced back from their demoralising late defeat to Arsenal with their biggest-ever Champions League away win, thrashing Union St. Gilloise 4-0. Toni Livramento is ruled out with a knee injury.
Forest’s defeat to Sunderland last week means they are now winless in five league matches. The arrival of Ange Postecoglou has yet to spark a turnaround in results, and a trip to St James’ Park will be a much sterner test. Zinchenko is out with a groin injury, while Santiago Murillo has been passed fit.
Newcastle v Nottingham Forest score prediction: 2-0
Wolves v Brighton
Wolves halted their five-game losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Spurs, though they were denied victory by Palhinha’s late goal.
Brighton, meanwhile, came away from Stamford Bridge with all three points after a strong second-half comeback following Chalobah’s dismissal.
The win lifted the Seagulls to 10th with eight points, and they will be eager to push on before the international break.
Wolves v Brighton score prediction: 1-3
Brentford v Man City
Brentford stunned Manchester United with a 3-1 win last week. Two early goals from Igor Thiago set the tone before Mathias Jensen sealed the result.
It was only their second win of the season, and they now face a much bigger test against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. Edmond-Paris Maghoma, Gustavo Gomes, and Reiss Nelson are doubtful.
Manchester City were pegged back by a late Eric Dier penalty in their 2-2 Champions League draw with Monaco. Defensive frailties remain a concern, though Erling Haaland continued his hot streak with both goals.
Rayan Cherki and Omar Marmoush face late fitness tests ahead of the weekend.
Brentford v Man City score prediction: 0-3
