According to multiple reports, the California high school football game between Mira CostaLawndale was cancelled after a threat was made by an individual, cancelling the game with around three minutes left in the first quarter.

Mira Costa was leading Lawndale 14-0 late in the first period when the game was called due to the threat. The Mustangs entered the night in search of their fifth win of the season.

There was no word if the rest of the contest would be made up or not.
