USC is finally making a turnaround from recent seasons.
Prior to last weekend, the Trojans had jumped out to a 4-0 start, which is the program's best since coach Lincoln Riley started in 2022. Southern California has already tallied wins over Big Ten opponents Purdue and Michigan State but ultimately fell to No. 22 Illinois last Saturday.
Despite dropping out of the AP Top 25 this week, Trojan fans should have confidence in this squad. Jayden Maiava has performed promisingly under center so far and has also established a lethal offensive duo with wide receiver Makai Lemon.
