Thomas Müller is living life to the fullest across the pond.
It has been just over a month and a half since Thomas Müller left his boyhood club Bayern Munich to join Vancouver Whitecaps in Major League Soccer. Müller thus ventured overseas for the first time in his long, illustrious career.
However, even across the Atlantic, Müller is still keeping in close touch with his Herzensklub. From swapping hat trick greetings with Harry Kane to even training a few days at Säbener Straße during the international break, it is clear that Müller’s heart still bleeds red, albeit with some blue and white as well.
So it is only natural that Müller is being linked to a return to Bayern in whatever capacity once he hangs his boots up. While Müller still greatly appreciates his Bayern, he dows not seem to be thinking about it too much right now. When asked by T-Online’s Julian Buhl about it, he replied “Bayern will always be my home. But for now, I’m enjoying life in Canada and trying to play successful football here.”
Indeed, both Müller and Vancouver are enjoying themselves this season. Müller already has four goals to his name, including a hat trick, while Vancouver have sealed a place in the MLS Cup Playoffs and are chasing down the Supporters Shield.
