Theo Von joins ESPN's 'College GameDay' to pick Week 6's biggest games

Theo Von, who lives in Nashville, joined the ESPN crew in Alabama to make selections for Saturday's Week 6 games.

Even with the controversy surrounding ESPN's "College GameDay" guest picker selection, the show went off without a hitch Saturday morning ahead of Week 6.

The network's flaghship college football show set up shop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the 11th-ranked Crimson Tide's game against No. 17 Vanderbilt. That game is only one of the week featuring ranked teams facing off.

The usual panel of Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfree, along with host Rece Davis, were joined by podcaster Theo Von to make the selections of the week's biggest games. Von, who lives in Nashville, picked Vandy, which hasn't been favored in a Southeastern Conference game since 2018.
