SPEARFISH, S.D. (KELO) — South Dakota Mines rallied for 24 straight points to knock off Black Hills State 27-13 in the 140th installment of the Black Hills Brawl Saturday night.
The Hardrockers outgained the Yellow Jackets 382-159, including 257-20 on the ground.
Mines freshman quarterback Gage Baker finished 9-for-19 for 125 yards. Senior RB Ty Harris led the ground attack with 159 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Junior Dawson Dunbar notched 80 rushing yards and one TD.
BHSU senior QB Luke Duby completed 17 of his 30 pass attempts for 120 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Eight different receivers made at least one catch.
This game marks the fifth straight time in the series the road team came away with a victory.
