Jude Bellingham is working hard to re-establish himself in Real Madrid’s starting lineup following his summer shoulder surgery, according to MARCA.
The England international has struggled to find his place under Xabi Alonso’s staring XI, and he is reportedly concerned about losing his “untouchable” status in the team, even though the coaching staff remains confident in his quality and importance.
Since Bellingham’s absence, Real Madrid have maintained strong performances in all three attacking positions.
Work for Alonso to do
Alonso’s challenge now is to integrate the Englishman into the squad without disturbing the balance that has been so effective.
The plan seems to focus on a midfield role for Bellingham, where he can dictate possession, advance from deeper positions, and catch opponents off guard with his forward runs.
