The Ravens aren't feeding Henry at all
Week 5 Derrick Henry stat will drive Ravens fans insane originally appeared on The Sporting News
The Baltimore Ravens are trailing the Houston Texans 24-3 at the time of writing, and nothing is going right for the Ravens in Week 5. They have been outgained 228-92 through two quarters of play, and C.J. Stroud has three first-half touchdown passes.
And while Baltimore is in a massive hole, perhaps some of that could have been avoided if they fed the ball to Derrick Henry a bit more. The All-Pro running back had just six carries for eight yards in the first half. For comparison, C.J. Stroud had more rushing yards than Henry, with 30 yards on a scramble that set up a Houston touchdown.
It's not a surprise how bad the Ravens are struggling due to all of the injuries they have, as Lamar Jackson, Roquan Smith, Marlon Humphrey, Kyle Hamilton, and several other players are inactive for Week 5. Regardless, this effort has been laughable at best.
