Manchester United legend Gary Neville's sharply criticized Liverpool full back Milos Kerkez for what he described as naive performance during the Reds 2 - 1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Neville: Kerkez looks like academy player

Speaking on his podcast after the game, Neville said:

"Kerkez, to be honest, looks like youth player right now. I know he’s talented but he seems like kid on the pitch. He’s got Premier League experience and has played in these stadiums before so I expected more"

Neville added that playing next to Virgil van Dijk should help him settle faster, saying:

"He’s alongside one of the world’s best defenders. That should make life easier. But since the opening 10 minute of the season against Bournemouth, he’s struggled"
