2028 quarterback Knox Kiffin is still very early in his recruiting process, but the Oxford (Miss.) passer and and son of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin is drawing attention as a prospect.

The signal-caller landed his first Power Four offer last May from SMU. He’s since added offers from Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, Georgia State, Sacramento State, Murray State and most recently FIU.

And more Power 4 programs are beginning to take notice. Kiffin will visit LSU this weekend for its game against South Carolina, he announced Sunday. The Tigers haven’t extended him an offer, but clearly have enough interest to bring him to campus as a young potential prospect.

The 6-foot, 170-pounder played sparingly as a freshman last year at Palos Verdes (Calif.) before transferring to Oxford ahead of his sophomore campaign. This year, he has appeared on one game for Oxford, according to his MaxPreps page.

In that limited action, he completed 4 of 7 passes for 109 yards, while rushing three times for yards and a touchdown. The Chargers are off to a 5-1 start behind junior quarterback Drew Dean, one of the top passers in the state.
