The Round of 12 ended in dramatic fashion as the points are reset for the penultimate round
While Shane van Gisbergen drove off with his fifth win of the 2025 season, his Trackhouse Racing teammate Ross Chastain was in the fight of his life.
Chastain and Logano battled for every point, and in the end, Chastain needed to finish four spots higher than the three-time and defending series champion. On the final lap, it was all slipping away as Denny Hamlin passed Chastain. However, Chastain drove it deep into the final corner and ran Hamlin over, spinning both of them.
Chastain reversed across the line, but missed out by four points. Logano was the final driver to transfer.
Along with Chastain, 23XI Racing's Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace were eliminated, as was Team Penske's Austin Cindric.
