SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Augustana) – The Augustana soccer team fell to Concordia-St. Paul by a score of 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Morstad Field. The Golden Bears scored two goals within the first six minutes of play and rode their momentum to the final whistle. The Vikings moved to 6-1-2 overall and 4-1-1 in conference play.
Sofia Hasse opened up the scoring for CSP off a pass from Lainie Wehmhoff in the fourth minute. Brooke Nelson continued their momentum with a goal off a free kick in the sixth minute. Augustana outshot Concordia-St. Paul 14-7 with both teams registering seven shots each on goal. Paige Bracker collected three shots on goal in 68 minutes of play. Taya Baker made five saves in the loss.
