This week, the Division Series continues with a few matchups that pave the way for the League Championship Series. All of the series are starting to tighten, and we could see some of them determined in the next few days. Here are five of the best games to watch this week.

Dodgers at Phillies — NLDS Game 2 (Monday)

Los Angeles was the first to score, and it’s now Philly’s turn to tie it up at home. Both teams provide offense in droves, and it’s all about the bullpen and the moments in the later stages of the game. Whether the Phillies can respond and Harrison Bader’s return can help us determine if the series heads back to L.A., tied, or a noticeable favor for the Dodgers.

Brewers vs. Cubs — NLDS Game 2 (Monday)

Milwaukee won the first game of the series, meaning Chicago must make this a must-win game to avoid being down 0–2. One of the fiercest rivalries in baseball, the Cubs need to get some serious performances to counter Milwaukee’s balanced pitching and deep lineup. Jackson Chourio has a hamstring that may be a determining factor for the Brewers and whether they can extend to a 2–0 lead.

Blue Jays at Yankees — ALDS Game 3 (Tuesday)

Toronto heads to New York up 2–0 after a wild Game 2. A win in the Bronx would clinch the series and send the Blue Jays to the ALCS, while the Yankees are eliminated in front of their home crowd. Every pitch matters, so it’s a big game between Toronto’s hot young core and a desperate New York team.

Mariners at Tigers — ALDS Game 3 (Tuesday)

Tied 1–1, this one in Detroit will decide the series. The Tigers are back at Comerica Park looking to ride the home crowd, while the Mariners try to take control before heading back to Seattle. It’s a tactical battle of depth and timely hitting.

Dodgers at Phillies — NLDS Game 5 (if necessary) (Saturday)

If this series goes to a Game 5, it’s the game of the week. Two powerhouses, a loud Philly crowd, and a winner-take-all game - classic postseason baseball. Every move, every swing, every inning will feel huge as one team’s season continues and the other ends.
