When are people going to learn their lesson and stop trash-talking Baker Mayfield?
When he hears trash talk, it's like a superpower is ignited in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. We saw that in Week 2, when Mayfield appeared to injure his ankle on a play before popping right up upon a Houston Texans player talking trash.
Apparently, a Seattle Seahawks fan didn't get the memo that it's probably best to avoid getting into it with Mayfield.
Before the Bucs ran out onto the field for the Week 5 game on Sunday, the Seahawks fan was talking trash to Mayfield, who gladly fired back.
Mayfield then went on to post ridiculous numbers in a 38-35 Tampa win. Mayfield completed 29-of-33 passes for 379 yards and two touchdowns to no picks. He also added five carries for 15 yards for good measure.
After the game, Mayfield made sure to check back in with the fan when exiting the field, and it was all caught on camera.
"You'll be real f—ing quiet at halftime," Mayfield said. "You're a f—ing p—."

And so the legend of Baker Mayfield and trash-talking grows.
Mayfield has been sensational through five games, so it's no surprise that Tampa Bay is 4-1. The former No. 1 overall pick has completed 65.1% of his passes for 1,283 yards and 10 touchdowns to one pick.
Dare we say, he might be an early MVP candidate.
Even if that doesn't come to fruition, Mayfield is already a Hall-of-Fame trash-talker and there is nothing anyone can do to take that away from him.
