The poll closes at noon on Friday. There are no restrictions, so vote now and vote often. Please do not email your votes.

Here are the choices for the week of Sept. 29 through Oct. 4, 2025:

  • Jimmie Burk, football, Redwood: Burk exploded for 190 yards rushing and three touchdowns to lift the Rangers over Porterville.
  • Jordan Crisp, football, Tulare Union: Crisp completed 23-of-27 passes for 366 yards and four touchdowns in a rout of Lemoore.
  • Emma Hernandez, girls golf, Redwood: Hernandez shot a 40 to lead the Rangers to a victory at the East Yosemite League's fourth mini tournament of the season.
  • Bre Marroquin, football, Golden West: Marroquin rushed for a career-high 160 yards and two touchdowns in a victory at Mt. Whitney.
  • Brayden Stevenson, football, Tulare Union: Stevenson had eight catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns, including an incredible 91-yard score.
  • Lauren Starr, girls water polo, Tulare Western: Starr registered 14 goals and four steals in the Mustangs' 26-12 win over Mission Oak. Then in a 19-15 victory against Dinuba, she shined again with a nine-goal, three-steal performance.
  • Karolyne Moran, volleyball, Golden West: Moran fired 25 kills with 12 assists and 23 digs in a win against Mt. Whitney.
  • Joscelyn Pena, volleyball, El Diamante: Pena dished 34 assists with 16 digs to propel the Miners to a victory.
  • Memo Rosales, football, Woodlake: Rosales hauled in six passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns as the Tigers dominated Orange Cove.
  • Preston Seechan, football, Tulare Western: In a win over Mission Oak, Seechan erupted for 165 yards and three touchdowns to anchor the Mustangs to their fifth victory of the season.

How to nominate an Athlete of the Week

Nominations are based on information available to the Times-Delta.

All high school varsity players from Tulare County can be on the ballot. Nominations must be received by Monday morning following that week's games for consideration.

Anyone can nominate an athlete of the week for every sport. Nominate next week’s ballot through email. Readers can email nominations to sports reporter Vongni Yang at [email protected]. Please include a player’s statistics and a photo if possible.
