Jacksonvile Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange out vs. Kansas City with a hip injury

The Jacksonville Jaguars may have suffered as key injury during the Chiefs game to TE Brenton Strange.

The Jacksonville Jaguars got through the first half of their game on Oct. 6 against Kansas City unscathed by injury.

Not so much the second half, and it was a big one.

Tight end Brenton Strange injured his hip and was questionable to return, according to the Jaguars. Strange caught one pass for 22 yards in the first quarter and entered the game leading the Jaguars with 19 receptions, and was second to Brian Thomas Jr., in yards with 164.

Strange has also been a force for the Jaguars blocking in the running game and on pass protection.

Strange was reported as out at halftime with the Jaguars trailing 14-7. He was seen standing on the Jaguars' sideline with a towel over his head during the third quarter.

Offensive tackle Anton Harrison came out for one play during the Jaguars' touchdown drive that tied the game 14-14, but he returned after one play.

Later in the third quarter, center Robert Hainsey was seen going into the portable injury tent on the sideline, but he ran back out on his own power.
