Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi, whose contract with the South London club is set to expire next summer. “FC Bayern are interested in Guehi,” Sky Germany reported, adding that club sporting director Max Eberl is “a big fan” of the England international. Eberl is believed to be monitoring the situation closely, with a potential free transfer viewed as a significant opportunity for the Bundesliga champions.

Competition from Europe’s Elite

Guehi’s growing reputation has attracted attention from across Europe. Liverpool and Barcelona are both “concretely interested”, while the player himself “dreams of a move to Real Madrid”, according to Sky Germany.

At Palace, Guehi remains central to Oliver Glasner’s plans. The former Bundesliga coach, together with the club hierarchy, refused to sanction his move to Liverpool last summer due to the lack of a suitable replacement. Palace are still keen to extend his contract, but with multiple top clubs circling, renewal talks appear increasingly difficult.
