Many high school football teams across the state of Oklahoma are already halfway done through the regular season.
Some of those squads got momentum entering the second half of the state thanks to key contributions from certain players.
Here, now, is a look at the top performers from Week 5. Also, readers can now vote on who they think should be the Oklahoma Player of the Week.

Dejon Ackerson, Putnam City
Ackerson returned a fumble 55 yards in the second half that broke a 21-all score and gave the Pirates the winning edge in a 28-27 win against defending Class 6A-II champion Choctaw.
Kase Adams, Sallisaw
The Black Diamonds’ quarterback completed 16-of-18 passes for 154 yards and two TDs, rushed for 84 yards and two more scores and also caught a two-point pass in Sallisaw’s 40-30 win at Broken Bow.
Wyatt Atkinson, Perkins-Tryon
Atkinson rushed for 187 yards on 17 carries and scored three TDs in the Demons’ 63-6 win against Mannford.
Brock Boyles, Ada
Boyles completed 19-of-31 passes for 342 yards and four TDs as the Cougars stayed undefeated with a 49-35 win at Poteau.
Cole Bray, Skiatook
Bray, a junior quarterback, was 17-of-24 passing for 316 yards and two TDs as the Bulldogs downed Catoosa, 42-0.
Karsson Davis, Fort Gibson
A sophomore quarterback, Davis completed 20-of-29 passes for 334 yards and four TDs in the Tigers’ 49-7 win against Oologah.
Kane Foreman, Pawhuska
Foreman completed 12-of-26 passes for 265 yards and five TDs - two of those in the final quarter - as the Huskies rallied from a 40-28 deficit to post a thrilling 42-40 win against Pawnee to stay undefeated on the season at 6-0.
Cecil Garrett IV, Claremore
Garrett, a senior tailback, carried the ball just nine times but was still able to produce 184 yards and five TDs as the Zebras downed Tulsa Hale, 64-21.
Noah Goodwin, Rejoice Christian
Goodwin carried the ball 24 times for 136 yards and had a TD as as the Eagles got past Pocola, 27-20, in a District A-I-4 showdown.
Landen Griffith, Talihina
Griffith passed for a whopping 519 yards and six TDs and also added 65 yards rushing with a TD in the Golden Tigers’ 61-7 win against Gore.
Jayden Hall, Owasso
Hall had 197 all-purpose yards - 162 of those on the ground, and also tallied three TDs in the Rams’ 49-15 win against Tulsa Union.
Acyn Hansen, Jones
Hansen passed for 216 yards and four touchdowns and also rushed for 125 yards and two more scores as the Longhorns defeated Oklahoma City Millwood, 59-19.
Levi Jensen, Sapulpa
A senior tailback, Jensen rushed for 120 yards on 15 carries and scored four TDs as Sapulpa downed Bartlesville, 41-21.
KD Jones, Jenks
The Trojans’ standout senior tailback ran for 212 yards and found the end zone three times as Jenks prevailed at Norman, 44-0.
Remington Laughlin, Mangum
Laughlin completed 22-of-25 passes for 324 yards and three TDs in the Tigers’ 35-7 win against Southwest Covenant. He also had six tackles on defense.
Aivan Locklin, Lawton MacArthur
Locklin threw three TD passes - all in the first quarter - and also added a scoring run in the Highlanders’ 61-0 win against Classen.
Carson Kirby, Bixby
Kirby, a senior quarterback, threw for 307 yards and four TDs while completing 10-of-13 passes, along with adding 51 yards rushing and even catching an 18-yard TD pass in the Spartans’ 81-6 win against Moore.
Braylon Lassiter, Shawnee
A senior, Lassiter had more than 400 yards of total offense in the Wolves’ 34-27 win against Tulsa Booker T. Washington. He passed for 186 yards and a TD while rushing for 229 yards on 23 carries and scoring three times.
Sawyer Rice, Duncan
In the Demons’ 44-14 win against previously undefeated Oklahoma City Southeast, Rice tallied 438 all-purpose yards and five TDs, including a 95-yard kickoff return. He also had nine tackles and picked off a pass on defense.
Taevion Robinson, Del City
A sophomore, Robinson intercepted two passes and broke up two more in the Eagles’ 79-0 win against Tulsa Memorial. He returned one of those interceptions for a TD.
Cole Rolland, Checotah
Rolland, a sophomore, completed 12-of-22 passes for 115 yards and a TD and also ran for 115 yards on 23 carries and two TDs in the Wildcats’ 21-17 win against Muldrow. But that’s not all, as on defense, he had 13 total tackles, including three for loss.
Semaj Stanford, Broken Arrow
Stanford, one of the top Class of 2027 athletes in the state, did a little bit of everything in the Tigers’ 42-14 win at Yukon. He caught a 49-yard pass for a TD and also had TDs on a blocked field goal return and a pick-six. Stanford also ran back a punt for 54 yards.
Aiden Totani, Savanna
Totani, a junior quarterback/safety, had six TDs rushing, two more passing and also returned a kickoff for another score while picking off two passes on defense in the Bulldogs’ 72-68 win against Webbers Falls.
Roman Tucker, Cushing
Tucker, a senior quarterback/defensive back, was 18-of-27 passing for 353 yards and five TDs, rushed for 92 yards on 14 carries and two TDs and also registered 15 tackles and an interception in the Tigers’ 52-35 win against Grove.
Jerrod Williams, Oklahoma City Heritage Hall
Williams, a senior, caught five passes for 170 yards and two TDs and also picked off a pass on defense in the Chargers’ 52-14 win against Anadarko.
CJ Wright, Tulsa Lincoln Christian
Just a sophomore, Wright ran for 120 yards on seven carries and had three total TDs as the Bulldogs downed crosstown foe Holland Hall, 62-0.
