RUSH Teases Expanding LFI In AEW

Is it just a coincidence that RUSH is looking to expand La Facción Ingobernable in AEW today? Or is it a sign of things to come?

One-half of the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions took to social media today to tease the expansion of La Facción Ingobernable, tweeting out:

“The time has come for LFI to get bigger we will rule the world *hourglass emoji* #LFI *gold medal emoji* #aew,” RUSH said in a post.

The timing of this post is very interesting as the WWE contract of Santos Escobar expired at midnight. And a recent report has suggested that he’s expected to head to All Elite Wrestling.

While many would probably like to see the recently returning Andrade El Idolo join LFI, his association with the Don Callis Family and past issues with Sammy Guevara will likely prevent that from happening.

La Facción Ingobernable is featured on both AEW and Ring of Honor programming. RUSH and Sammy Guevara are your current Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions, winning the vacated titles at Death Before Dishonor following the injury to Dustin Rhodes.

With AEW Dynamite going head-to-head with WWE NXT this evening, now would be the perfect time to introduce Santos Escobar and add him to La Facción Ingobernable. Will it happen? We’ll find out soon enough.
