The Hardy Boyz Win Winner Take All Match At WWE NXT vs. TNA Showdown

The Hardy Boyz have finally captured the tag team titles that eluded them throughout their illustrious career.

Matt and Jeff Hardy faced DarkState’s Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin in the opening contest at WWE NXT versus TNA Showdown. The bout was a Winner Take All match for the TNA and NXT Tag Team Championships.

DarkState attempted to gang up on The Hardy Boyz with a numbers advantage before the opening bell, but Matt and Jeff cleared the ring before the referee ejected Cutler James and Saquon Shugars from ringside.

Both teams fought an evenly matched contest until Matt capitalized on an opening to plant Griffin with a Twist of Fate, followed by Jeff connecting with a Swanton Bomb for the win, earning a thunderous reaction from the crowd at the Performance Center.

With this victory, The Hardy Boyz are now both the TNA and NXT Tag Team Champions. However, it remains to be seen if their upcoming Tables Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Bound For Glory against The Dudleys will also include the NXT Tag Team titles on the line.
