The Buffalo Bills slumped to their first defeat of the season at the hands of the New England Patriots, and in the process, showed the rest of the NFL that they aren't the unbeatable juggernaut many thought.
With three brutal turnovers and a performance that wasn't up to their standards, the Bills allowed the Patriots to roll into Highmark Stadium and walk out with a 23-20 win.
Josh Allen called it "piss poor" offense, while coordinator Joe Brady stated "nothing was up to standard" in the loss, which leads CBS Sports' John Breece, in giving Buffalo a "B-" grade, to think the Bills might be as untouchable as people think.
"The Bills had gone an NFL-record 26 games without losing the turnover battle, but that streak finally came to an end on Sunday night and it's a big reason why they lost," Breech writes. "With this loss, the Bills suddenly don't look so unbeatable and their five-year reign atop the AFC East could be in jeopardy."

Bills blueprint revealed by Patriots
The win for New England surprised many, but did it reveal how to beat Buffalo? Possibly.
James Cook was held in check for most of the game, totaling just 49 yards on 15 carries, so the run game was shut down, which means play-action wasn't as devastating. Plus, Allen was the leading rusher for Buffalo (53 yards), which isn't usually a good sign.
Aside from Dalton Kincaid (108 yards), the Patriots' defense clamped down on Buffalo's offense, often forcing Allen out of the pocket and often into the waiting arms of defenders.
Yes, the three turnovers helped immensely, and are a big reason for the win, but the Patriots shut down Buffalo's much-vaunted run game, and that also played a role in the win.
Was the blueprint discovered? We eagerly await to find out.
