SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Lake View enters week seven of the high school football season this week, their final tune up game before hitting the open week just before district play kicks off. Head Coach Hector Guevara spoke to the media Tuesday.
The Chiefs are rebounding from a 46-36 loss to Burnet, a game in which Lake View fumbled a 29-22 halftime lead before dropping their 2nd consecutive game after starting 4-0.
Lake View isn’t going down with a fight though in both losses, scoring 69 points combined in those games. The offense is still putting up 30+ every game, while the defense continues to find their footing consistently. Lake View enters district play October 24th and concludes their district finale at home.
This is setting up to be one of the more memorable Lake View seasons in recent memory.
