The field at the 2025 World Grand Prix of Darts has been cut in half, with just 16 players remaining.

Some quality matchups are set for the second round, with the potential for more big names being eliminated from the tournament.

Here are my predictions for the second round.

Cameron Menzies vs. Rob Cross (9)

Winner: Cameron Menzies, 3-2

This might be a bold prediction, but after Menzies' first round game, his form could be coming together at the right time.

We've seen a few shocking updates to start the week, and with Cross' recent erratic form, Menzies could be on his way to a quarterfinal appearance.

Stephen Bunting (4) vs. Danny Noppert (13)

Winner: Stephen Bunting, 3-1

Bunting got the job done against Niko Springer and will now go against another recent Euro Tour winner, Danny Noppert.

Noppert escaped to get the win in his game against Wattimena, but Bunting's success in 2025 and on Monday backs up why he should be the favorite entering Wednesday.

Luke Humphries (1) vs. Krzysztof Ratajski

Winner: Luke Humphries, 3-0

Humphries managed to come away with a 2-0 win against a tough first-round opponent in Nathan Aspinall.

Ratajski had a 2-0 win himself, but Humphries, as a former champion in the tournament, should be a clear favorite entering this game.

Joe Cullen vs. Gary Anderson (12)

Winner: Joe Cullen, 3-2

Cullen broke a personal streak of poor performances at major stage events, beating James Wade in the first round on Monday.

Anderson had some trouble against van Barneveld, so Cullen will look to take a slightly more positive performance than Anderson's and use it to his advantage against him in round two.

Jonny Clayton (6) vs. Luke Woodhouse

Winner: Luke Woodhouse, 3-2

Woodhouse is still searching for a first major, and it could come this week.

Clayton has had success in the past, but Woodhouse's performance on Tuesday proves that he can compete at a level equal to the top seeds left.

Dirk van Duijvenbode vs. Daryl Gurney

Winner: Daryl Gurney, 3-1

Gurney is a veteran player won won the event back in 2017.

He'll have to play van Duijvenbode, who is fresh off an upset win over MVG, but Gurney himself had a solid win over Ross Smith.

DVD hasn't been able to string together several positive games too often in big tournaments this year, so Gurney is my pick to come out with the win in this one.

Gerwyn Price (7) vs. Josh Rock (10)

Winner: Gerwyn Price, 3-2

Rock came away with the win when the two played at the World Matchplay in July, but this time it could be different.

Price has also been in good form all year and is looking to bounce back and win another major.

This one can really go either way, but Price's energy on Tuesday showed how dangerous he can be when he finds a rhythm, especially as the length of games gets longer.

Luke Littler (2) vs. Mike De Decker

Winner: Luke Littler, 3-1

It's hard to pick against Littler after his incredible first-round performance.

De Decker was fortunate enough to survive round one, so all signs point towards Littler having his A or B game be enough to comfortably beat De Decker, which would end his title defense attempt.
