On Wednesday, Cameroon will be looking to reaffirm their historical superiority over Mauritius in the match counting for the 9th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Trailing Cape Verde by 4 points in Group D, the βIndomitable Lionsβ must secure a win on the road to keep their World Cup 2026 qualification hopes alive.
Historically, the five-time African champions have cruised past Mauritius in all five of their previous encounters. Their last face-off dates back to November 2023, when Cameroon clinched a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Georges-KΓ©vin N'Koudou, and Frank Magri.
