Despite Oaktree’s youth-oriented policy, Inter’s squad remains among the oldest in Serie A.
Indeed, Cristian Chivu might have signed several youngsters in the summer, yet his squad has an average of 29.35 years. It places them second in the Serie A standings.
Meanwhile, only Napoli have an older squad, with an average age of 29.56 years.
As a result, Inter and Napoli are among the oldest in European football, let alone Italy.
Chivu’s former side Parma boast the youngest team in Serie A, with an average age of 24.26 years.
